Union of the Azerbaijani Youth in Ukraine held Welcome Day

Unionof the Azerbaijani Youth in Ukraine (UAYU) gathered its friends at its office on November 13, 2015. Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ukraine Nazim Aliyev and the diplomats of the Azerbaijani Embassy, chairman of the organizations “United Diaspora of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine” and “Assembly of Nations of Ukraine” Rovshan Tagiyev, member of the Azerbaijani Diaspora Akif Gulmammadov, well-known Azerbaijani actor and TV anchorman Tural Asadov, famous representatives of Ukrainian society singers Anna and Maria Opanasyuk, honored artist of Crimea Lenara Osmanova, young poetess Anastasia Dmytruk, finalists of the Ukrainian song contest “Golos” Emin Samedli, Andrey Luchanko, Yana Kovalyova, Andrey Pantyukh, Dmytro Ivashenko and others were among the guests.

Chairman of the UAYU Ilgama Allahverdiyeva in her opening speech delivered her gratitude of theRepublicofAzerbaijan, friends and partners for their support to the Azerbaijani youth inUkraine. She also talked about the activity and future plans of the organizations. Charge d’Affaires Nazim Aliyev mentioned the positive role of the Azerbaijani youth and wished future successes. Rovshan Tagiyev and Akif Gulmammadov expressed their thanks for the inputs of UAYU in bringing the nations of Azerbaijan and Ukraine closer.

 Guests of the meeting enjoyed the Azerbaijani, Ukrainian and foreign songs by the young talents and delicious samples of the Azerbaijani cuisine.
